Who plans to launch a website on illness, right? Especially his or her own.
One day, you find your legs buckling on a basketball court, and shrugging it off stops being an option. Then a neurologist sits you down and gives it a complicated name you'd rather not know.
I wrote The Tunnel of Hope as a way to make sense of what was happening to me.
It became more than a book.
This is a space for anyone, who feels like they're walking their own tunnel.
Walking in the dark can be scary. But it sure is not lonely.
If you're reading this, you are already a friend.
Welcome.

The Tunnel of Hope is a book, a journal, and a wider community.
I chose the word tunnel on purpose.
Most people run from them. I had to walk, crawl into mine.
And now, I'm putting it out there.
Hopefully, it'll be a light to others.

WHY DOES IT BURN?
WHY DOES IT BURN?
WHY DOES IT BURN?
I was living at full speed, always in the game. My body was just that thing that fired me up.
Until a neurologist sat me down with the bad news and the fire stopped being a metaphor.
It was real, and it was burning through everything I thought my life would be while I watched.
This time, from the sidelines.

WHAT DO YOU DO —

WHAT DO YOU DO —
— when the sky falls? The first diagnosis came on a Thursday afternoon.
I walked out onto the street and the tears came hard and fast.
There's a moment in life, when everything you take for granted loses ground.
This was mine.

HOW DO YOU UNLEARN —
HOW DO YOU UNLEARN —
— everything you thought you knew?
My initial impulse was to fix my body.
Natural, I suppose: my life's work has been to build and improve things.
With time, I found myself in Chiang Mai, learning Thai massage, sitting with Mantak Chia, walking inward instead of forward. Inward is a scary place. Much like a tunnel.
Until you keep walking.

WHO IS YOUR ROCK?
WHO IS YOUR ROCK?
WHO IS YOUR ROCK?
I came back from Thailand and had to rebuild my life from scratch.
I stopped overriding my feelings and started listening to them instead. Anyone who's ever had to unlearn how they live will know: it's not pretty.
I needed to find my rock, and lean on it. That's what the light does to you.
It reveals what actually matters.

WHAT DO YOU DO WITH A NUMBER?
WHAT DO YOU DO WITH A NUMBER?
WHAT DO YOU DO WITH A NUMBER?
3 to 5 years. That's what the doctor said.
They say numbers can form patterns. I feel like mine formed a direction. I did call everyone I loved, one by one. Then I went back to my life.
What do you do with a number? You multiply it.
The tunnel doesn't close just because someone tells you it does.
It opens.

Alongside the publication of the book, I started sharing details of my journey with the people around me.
It's incredible how tightly people come together through hardship.

What happens when life collapses, then continues anyway?
I wrote 'The Tunnel of Hope' in the aftermath of a life-altering diagnosis.
Drawing on my own lived experiences, from hospitals, therapy rooms, basketball courts, classrooms, to stillness moments.

Meeting Boris Diaw, GM French National team and former NBA champion
Basketball was never just a sport for me.
I have loved, love, and will always love this game.
I played against teams from around the world, facing young guys who would later become NBA champions.
Basketball gave me so much.
It pulled me out of hard times.
It taught me strength, discipline,
and what it truly means to trust others, to build something together.

the
Learning

Since 2018, I’ve had a surprising new hobby: Nuad Boran.
Traditional Thai massage.
I needed to go to the source. I went to Chiang Mai.
I passed my Level III exam through leg cramps and jet lag.
I didn't stop. I didn't find a miracle either.
I found a rhythm.
The kind that lives beneath words.

Teaching

I started teaching entrepreneurship
at Unknown University in October 2024.
Real. In-depth. Engaged. Raw.
Unfiltered. Just how I like it.
Every "aha" moment in the room brought a genuine smile.
I realized I don't just like teaching.
I belong in spaces alive with transformation.

Sometimes reading isn't enough. Sometimes you need a room, a voice, another person who gets it.
On March 26th 2026, I invited a small group of people to mark the... "Opening" of The Tunnel of Hope.
Not as a presentation. Not as a performance. But as a shared pause - with readings, music, and stillness.

Did you know that the ginkgo tree survived the Hiroshima bombing during WWII? It even manage to keep growing. Throughout my journey, this resilient flower became a symbol for everything the tunnel represents.
If something on here stayed with you, don't be a stranger.
